Specializing in the cultivating and growing of Vetiver grass.
Certification of Technical Excellence from The Vetiver Network
Vetiver grass has special characteristics that lend themselves to the protection of infrastructure and wetlands. Hedges of Vetiver grass can protect levees and bluffs against soil erosion from wave action and landslides due to rainstorms, storm surges, and breaches. Vetiver grass does this by increasing the shear strength of the soil with Vetiver’s massive root system that cannot be dislodged by moving water. Vetiver Grass is non-invasive, its deep roots do not tiller to the side, it stays where it is planted and nowhere else. Vetiver grass is drought and salt-tolerant.
